Marsha Wesley is the owner of the Keller location. With a “desire to teach children,” Wesley has brought a program to this area that uses a multi sensory curriculum

Welcome to our website. Reading Friends of Keller is an academic preschool for ages 2-Kindergarten. Our curriculum is based on Orton-Gillingham, a multi-sensory approach to teaching the whole child. We offer Language, Music, Math, Art, Discovery (Science and Social Studies), Perceptual Gross Motor, Fine Motor, and Outside/Free Play daily from 9am-12pm.  At noon, the children eat lunch and dismissal starts at 12:45pm.  We offer enrichment classes from 1:00-2:00pm.

Preparing a child for Kindergarten entails more than learning the alphabet and recognizing shapes. Here, we prepare the whole child for lifelong learning. Ours is a culture and an educational climate in which increased emphasis is placed on preschool development and social readiness. Our curriculum includes multi-sensory teaching techniques founded on Orton-Gillingham principles, which allow all students to be successful.

Over the years, Reading Friends has successfully met or surpassed these higher expectations of academic, emotional, and social goals by creating an environment rich in interactive skill building, thereby fostering a love for learning and literacy.
